This resort is designed for families with small children, and for that it's great. I would not recommend it for any other demographic. There are two beautiful pools (open from 8 am to 8 pm), one for kids, and one for parents with kids. The pools are for playing, although I suppose someone who gets there at 8 am would be able to swim laps without getting bonked by a large unicorn inflatable toy. The meals are served buffet style. While the food isn't up to Club Med standards (for example), it's perfectly good and there were a few nice surprises. In any case, kids will find plenty to eat. We were on half-pension, which meant breakfast & dinner. That was plenty of food, really. One day we were allowed to trade dinner for lunch, and that wasn't a problem. No drinks (except tap water) are included for lunch and dinner. Coffee (real espresso available), tea, juices, and bottled water (both regular and sparkling) are included with breakfast. And there's a huge machine that squeezes fresh orange juice (breakfast only). The rooms are not luxurious but are functional, clean, and comfortable, and our room (a typical family room, I think) had a bedroom for two and a living-room with a sofa / trundle bed. We have only one child, but a second child wouldn't have been a problem. There was also a tiny but useful kitchenette, complete with plates, sink, mini-fridge and cookware. The wifi is included...and mediocre. Even though our daughter is shy, she enjoyed spending a few hours each day at the mini-club. The staff were all very friendly and engaged. In fact, I would say that about everyone who works there: friendly, helpful people. The waiters in the restaurant, the people at reception, and the concierges. The concierges helped us to organize our excursions. The one we spoke to the most (Judit), was from a nearby town and had lots of good suggestions. The after-dinner shows were fun--and again, pretty much aimed at kids.

- the swimming pools! The kids one is great for younger children and the larger one is huge and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. -kikkoland (kids play area) is a large area with so many activities for the kids to enjoy. You can choose to drop your kid off there or stay and play with them. There is a bouncy castle, a mini soft play with slides and ball pit, playground, arts and crafts, giant building bricks and a special baby area with swings and toys for younger children. This area is hugely under-advertised and such a pro for families with young children. - las basilicas restaurant was our favourite. We.have stayed at multiple family hotels now and this is definitely the best buffet. The fresh pasta and pizza every night was delicious.. - we hired a buggy for the whole week for 15 euros - there was an onsite doctor. He came within 5 minutes of us calling him to see both our children who needed antibiotics. - there is a handy tunnel for access to the beach - evening entertainment. The most popular kids disco we have seen and some fun shows such as acrobats and magic bubbles. - I also want to add the hotel must have taken into account the reviews that stated knives were kept in low down drawers. They had installed a knife rack up high in the kitchenette so my toddler just played with the recycling bins rather than the knives. - not too noisy. Some family hotels have loud music playing all day. This wasn't the case. There was the odd loud aqua aerobics class but it wasn't long and the music was very fun. We would recommend it to friends.

This was our first time holiday with kid in this type of resort and I was really astonished. We decided according the very good reviews and it was worthy of it. All people working there are really kind and trying as hard as possible to make your stay memorable. As it is "family" place, there were kids of very small age everywhere, and I liked a lot the preparedness of all facilities for it, especially two restaurants, where you automatically get a chair for a small kid, even a bib. Such small details surprised me and I admire the all employees who were managing very well all types of situations, mainly the busy breakfast and dinners, where kids are running everywhere. All spaces all cleaned every day, the access to beach is very practical and easy, the nature around is beautiful. We had a really great stay, thanks a lot.

Great selection and quality of food at both restaurants, we loved the daily grilled steak and fish to order. The animation team delivered a very good balance of activities during the day. Our children didn't go to the kids club but they did take part in some of the activities when they came to the main pool, equally we enjoyed the aqua aerobics sessions which we've never done before! The beach is amazing with warm clear waters, very easy to get to from the hotel. Tip - there is a box before the beach tunnel where people leave behind sand and pool toys, check this box before going to the supermarket!

Julia

A lot of activities for children of all ages. Could not fault the facilities on offer Choice of meals was fresh and abundant and we enjoyed the different themes each night. The freshly cooked fish and meats was a bit hit and miss, dependant on the cook and how busy it got. But overall a 9 out of 10.... Appreciated that there was so much different fish to choose from each night. Entertainment varied. Catered for younger kids first and then adults.
